For many years, our current premises have been more than an address. They have been part of the SAMWUMED journey, and a familiar place where generations of members have come to access our services.
Now, SAMWUMED is moving to a new headquarters.
This is an important step forward for the Scheme. Our new premises will provide a safer, more secure environment for our employees.
But while our headquarters are changing, our commitment to you is not.
We know that many members value being able to speak to us face-to-face. That is why member access remains an important part of our service commitment.

Member Walk-in Centres
We acknowledge that the current premises have also served as an important point of face-to-face contact for members in the Cape Metro. To ensure members continue to have access to this support, we will communicate the new walk-in centre in the Cape Metro once finalised.
This means that while our head office will have a new home, you will continue to have places where you can come to us for the support you need.
We're changing where we work, not how we care for you.
We will also share the relocation date and walk-in centre locations with you before the move.
