OPTION A

Paid from Risk

Option A Benefits

  • Unlimited PMB cancer coverage.
  • PET scans can only be performed at accredited practices and require additional authorisation.
  • Post-chemo/radiotherapy chronic conditions are not covered.
  • Oncology (Cancer) medication is subject to the Scheme’s Medicine Price List (MPL) and Preferred Product List.

Conditions:

  • To avoid paying a 25% co-payment, members are encouraged to use the Scheme’s Network of Service Providers for all their treatment and medication.

OPTION B

Paid from Risk

Option B Benefits

  • Option B offers unlimited PMB cancer coverage and up to R400,650 annually for non-PMB cancers.
  • PET scans can only be performed at accredited practices and require additional authorisation.
  • Post-chemo/radiotherapy chronic conditions are not covered.
  • Oncology (Cancer) medication is subject to the Scheme’s Medicine Price List (MPL) and Preferred Product List.
