Job Purpose:

The Digital Transformation Specialist is responsible for identifying, implementing, and optimizing digital solutions to streamline business processes, ensure compliance, and foster innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analytics

  • Evaluate and understand current processes to identify opportunities for digital enhancement.
  • Conduct research on emerging digital trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop metrics and monitor the performance of digital initiatives to assess their impact and effectiveness.
  • Analyze data from various sources to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Leverage AI and machine learning tools to analyse member data for predictive insights, ensuring ethical use and personalization. Project Management

Project Management

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project plans and performance indicators.
  • Lead agile project teams in digital initiatives, from ideation to rollout, while driving change management and upskilling staff on tools like cloud platforms.
  • Manage digital transformation projects from conception to implementation.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical departments to ensure clear understanding of the digital transformation goals.
  • Facilitate change management and digital adoption among all stakeholders.
  • Present project updates and strategic insights to management.
  • Assist in staff training and development Compliance Management

Compliance Management

  • Ensure all digital projects comply with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, local laws) and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments for digital initiatives.
  • Develop and implement policies to mitigate compliance risks in technology adoption. Optimisation and Innovation

Optimisation and Innovation

  • Identify and implement new technologies to optimise operations.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and services through automation and digital tools (i.e. AI and machine learning).
  • Pilot emerging technologies like robotic process automation (RPA) for claims processing.
  • Collaborate with vendors on blockchain for secure transactions.
  • Promote sustainable digital practices to reduce operational carbon footprints.
  • Track KPIs such as adoption rates and ROI to measure initiative success.
  • Develop custom workflows and integrations using tools like Power Automate and SharePoint Lists.
  • Design and deploy custom forms and data collection solutions using platforms like JotForm.
  • Collaborate with teams to pilot innovative solutions and scale successful ones.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Certifications

  • Accredited in Project Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2), digital transformation (Certified Digital Transformation Professional) or relevant tools (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform, JotForm Expert)
  • Membership in professional bodies like ISACA, PMI or local IT Associations is advantageous

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in digital transformation, IT project management, or related roles.
  • Proven experience in data analytics and process optimization.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on development/programming experience (e.g., in languages like Python, JavaScript, or SQL).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop custom forms using JotForm for data collection and automation.
  • Expertise in creating workflows using Power Automate for process automation.
  • Experience managing and integrating SharePoint Lists for data storage, collaboration, and reporting.
  • Track record of managing cross-functional projects from ideation to deployment.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards in digital environments (e.g., data privacy laws).
  • Experience in training teams on new technologies and facilitating change management.

Capabilities:

  • Communication Skills: Translate complex tech concepts for non-technical stakeholders; Deliver engaging presentations and reports
  • Analytical Skills: Use data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau or Microsoft Power BI) to solve issues; Apply critical thinking with AI driven analytics
  • Project Management: Executive projects using agile methodologies, on time and within budget
  • Leadership: mentor teams and foster a culture of innovation and inclusion
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (including Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams), JotForm, data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel) and basic programming/scripting
  • Soft skills: Strong communication, problem solving, and stakeholder management abilities; adaptability to emerging technologies; attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in technical implementations and compliance audits
